They have homes all over the UK and if you log onto www.rspca.org.uk it will show you where your nearest home is and contact details on how to contact them.

If you have spare time on your hands why not Volunteer to help in one of the homes and give something back to them.

Let me know if you have ever taken in a pet from RSPCA and what your experience was like and how easy it was.

when buying a new collar or pet clothing why not go to Pets at Home where you can take your dog in with you and you can try the items on you wish to purchase.

also there are advisor’s who can give you advice on what to feed your pet and what age range food they should be eating (your vet can give you more accurate advice though)

My friend did this and she thought it was great that they could try items on her dog before buying.

Let me know if you have ever taken your pet into Pets At Home and what you thought of the service.

With Valentines day fast approaching why not surprise your lovely girlfriend with a cute little pooch which she has probably been asking for for a long time now.

If she has been asking for it for a long time chances are she will not get bored after a month and will continue to look after it… And it will keep her fit so stop her moaning about all the weight she put on over Christmas.

Chances are she will love you a hell of a lot more with this present but y0u may get neglected for a while until the puppy settles in..

Those who are caught will be found and handed an on-the-spot fine.
Surrey residents are saying not only that it is intrusive and a waste of time and money and believe that the police should pay more attention to crimes.

‘They can’t watch burglars and dog-walkers at the same time. And even if they see something happening, are they going to send a squad car out to deal with it?’

Veterinary surgeons are warning that many pet owners see overweight pets as cute and cuddly, however they do not see the threat that obesity possesses to their pet’s health.

People think that over feeding their pet is showing affection, but when the animals struggle to do what comes naturally like walking and general play it begs the question is it natural?

When you see an overweight pet you can immediately see that they not only look wrong they also look unnatural.

In a style made popular by Hollywood celebrities Paris Hilton and Jessica Simpson. Dog owners can now carry their dogs in a small fashion bag worn slung across one arm and hanging loose from the waist, however animal charities are warning dog owners to keep their dogs on a lead after the latest in a range of carry cases for small dogs was launched.

The RSPCA has warned that the bags which cost as little as £22, could cause serious distress for dogs.

Do animals leave a spirit behind when they die? Some people believe this is true! I have a friend that swears her dead dogs spirit is in her wardrobe, she says she can hear him whining and scratching in there and wonders if he is trying to let her know he is there!

There is no doubt that dogs have a 6th sense, they can sense a dog without hearing or seeing it, if you really really wanted you could have a “Pet Psychic” try and communicate with your dog!

I wonder what a dog would try and communicate?? Probably can we go out now? Or can I have some food??

Boxers are loyal to the end however male Boxers are much more loyal than female, my female Boxer often runs away and won’t come back when called, however my male dog will always come back even though he can see she has run away.

The RSPCA is urging pet owners to keep their animals cool this summer especially as temperatures are expected to be very high this weekend.
One obvious instruction to dog owners is to not abandon their pets in cars, conservatories or caravans whilst they enjoy the sunshine.
In June last year two dogs died after being left in a Police car on one of the hottest days of the year.
Some of the signs that your dog could be suffering from heat stroke are excessive panting, overly red or purple gums, a rapid pulse, lack of co-ordination, reluctance or inability to rise after collapsing.
Please look after your dog this summer.

I read today that John Travolta’s pet dogs have reportedly been killed in an airport accident in the US.
Apparently the dogs were being taken for a walk after a flight with the Travolta family when a service vehicle at Bangor International Airport, Maine, accidently struck the two family pets.
The incident came to light after the City’s daily newspaper discovered an email that had been sent to members of the City council describing the incident.
The airport has since sent flowers and cards to the Travolta family expressing their deepest sympathies and apologising for the incident.
