Rottweilers – the vicious dog

This dog was originally bred in Germany in Europe, and is a stalwart type of dog. Remarkably, the Rottweiler was one of the oldest breeding dogs in England. Although one of the more popular breeds, Rottweilers are known for their occasional viciousness and natural aggression, although that can be down to the owner as others can also be known as compassionate and obedient dogs.

The dog is that popular in Germany, that a statue of the canine was built in Rottwell. They are the second most known dogs for fatal human attacks, with pit-bull terriers being number one in the US.

Police Dogs

The police breed, live with and look after their own dogs. They do this as the dogs can help them arrest criminals, hunt for criminals and to help sniff out drugs or other illegal substances. Just like police, the police dogs main aim is to enforce public law and order, however other aims include; search and rescue dogs and detection dogs.

The type of dogs that are trained to be police dogs are usually more aggressive types of dog, and they include; Alsations, Rottweilers, Boxers ,American Pit Bull Terriers, American Staffordshire Terriers, Dutch Shepards and even Beagles (used in airports).

Jack Russell’s the angry dog

Jack Russells are small, white coated terriers. The dog’s origins were in fox hunting. The dogs are worldwide known for their appearance, with a coat of white with patches of orange. Jack Russells are broad dogs, even though they are a smaller type of dog. The dogs have been known for two hundred years, and their popularity is a reason for this.

The dog was first bred in 1975 by Englishman Reverend John Russell whom was a fox hunting enthusiast. As such, Russell’s were after used to hunt out fox’s from their dens, which the dogs do in large groups.

What dogs are Guard Dogs?

Guard dogs are bred to guard against, look after/watch out for unexpected people or animals. Guard dogs can be bred by an official dog breeder for families, or they can be bred by rival gangs. Families usually have guard dogs if they have bought a new house, or have started a new family as a means of defence, as well as an extra member to the family. Gangs train and breed dogs unofficially to prevent rival gangs from entering their territory or to use as a weapon against other gangs. The types of dogs which are usually guard dogs include Rottweilers and Alsations.

Alsation Dogs

Alsations, also known as German Shepard Dogs are sheep herding dogs that originated in Germany. One of the most recent dogs in history that has been bred, in 1899.

The dog is very popularly used by the police, army and in various street crime. It is a very intelligent dog, and also very obedient and loyal to its owner(s). When the leading UK breeder, The UK Kennel Club, first accepted to breed the dog in 1926 in the UK, the popularity of the dog shot up to around 8,000. The dog gained huge positive feedback from soldiers after the world war, telling how it was a great accomplice during the war, as well as loyal companion.
