Keep your dogs cool this summer

The RSPCA is urging pet owners to keep their animals cool this summer especially as temperatures are expected to be very high this weekend.
One obvious instruction to dog owners is to not abandon their pets in cars, conservatories or caravans whilst they enjoy the sunshine.
In June last year two dogs died after being left in a Police car on one of the hottest days of the year.
Some of the signs that your dog could be suffering from heat stroke are excessive panting, overly red or purple gums, a rapid pulse, lack of co-ordination, reluctance or inability to rise after collapsing.
Please look after your dog this summer.
